Description

Our Dub-Siren MKII pays homage to the roots of electronic sounds. This design is an advanced version of the discontinued MKI siren that we had been selling for just over 10 years. We took the fundamental design and made it better. We are now incorporating DTF print techniques instead of our usual screen printing process, keeping our classic pinstripe style.

The Dub-Siren MKII is a simple, yet powerful, pure analogue sound generator with an out-of-this-world LFO section. Inspired by vintage percussion synthesizers and the original dub sirens, the Dub-Siren MKII cries out to have its buttons pushed and knobs turned. While this machine is perfect for producers of dub and dub reggae, it has a place in any style of electronic music, especially in live performance.

The Dub-Siren MKII produces subsonic bass down to a staggering 1Hz with an analogue oscillator. It creates classic tones with two selectable warm waveforms perfect for siren sounds, electronic percussion, sustained drones and abstract soundscapes.

You can create warbling sirens and modulated sound effects using the comprehensive LFO parameters. Two LFO speed settings mean that the Dub-Siren MKII can operate from slow evolving rates up to supersonic LFO. Pitch sweep adds the option for a swooping, descending overall pitch.

The inviting arcade-style manual trigger button is just the job for live performances, and remains illuminated for the duration of the audio signal. External trigger input offers simplistic control for sequencing the Dub-Siren MKII. This works well with modern modular synths and vintage studio equipment alike; it can also operate with the external S-CAT Trigger Pad (optional) suiting it to electronic percussionists. Headphone Cue is another useful function that allows you to audition sounds before unleashing.

Overall, the analogue Dub-Siren MKII sure packs a punch for the professional.
